I am the author of a STEM novel, historical fiction and narrative nonfiction, and two sea otter adventure tales for young readers. Believe it or not, researching for writing children's books can be fun!

On my journey I've discovered fascinating details about STEM topics, Okanagan history, the Empress of Ireland steamship, Finnish immigrants, spies and sabotage during the First World War, and sea otters and the ocean.

I CAN, TOO!
Piper and Kayla love to move. They ride bikes, glide on ice, swoosh down mountains and much more – each in her own way. While Piper pedals her tricycle with her feet, Kayla uses her hands to move her trike forward. While Kayla coasts across the ice on a sled, Piper sails along on skates. Join Kayla and Piper as they play together, explore their world and make new friends.
